The Community Engagement Team will lead the parish in a dialogue about Trinity’s possible involvement in CONECT (Congregations Organized for a New Connecticut). CONECT is a group of congregations in New Haven and Fairfield Counties discerning and advocating for public policies that are in accord with our faith values and that will positively impact our communities.
Father Tom has experience participating with similar organizations in previous congregations. The Vestry feels that moving in this direction is in line with Trinity’s mission and has included a line item for CONECT in our 2024 budget. It is important that we have the input and support of the wider congregation before moving forward.
Please plan to attend, and then plan to stay afterward for the 2024 Earth Day Celebration on the Green!
